Women of Courage
Women of Courage
In life we will often be tested by adversity and unexpected challenges. It is up to us to use the power that God has given us to be strong and to understand that challenges are a test of our perseverance and faith. We must look beyond what is happening to us at the moment.
Challenges are necessary to keep us focused and to strengthen our resolve.
In our May-June 2014 issue, we spotlight six women (Sasha Ottey, Dianne Samoff, Maimah Karmo, Tawana Williams, Susan Ellis and Donna Reed). These women had courage and faith to turn their adversities into magnificent opportunities, not just for themselves, but for those who are experiencing similar adversities.
Through their hardships they became empowered to see beyond their challenges, and they were able to have a positive impact on the lives of others, while also changing their own lives. Each of them has dedicated her life to serving others by providing them a renewed vision and an opportunity to better their lives.
From challenge often comes victory. These women have been victorious in transforming their own lives, as well as the lives of thousands of others around the world.
Are you facing a challenge today? What’s preventing you from transforming your challenge into an opportunity for yourself and a solution for others? Step out on faith and turn your adversity into a strategy for success.
