A Visionary with An Impeccable Leadership Style

George C. Fraser

For many young children, growing up in foster homes would have led to negative thinking and self destruction, but not George C. Fraser. Though he had little hope and no expectations while growing up in foster homes and on the streets of New York, it was that small inkling of hope that changed his life. It gave him the determination to become a force for change that today has impacted the lives of hundreds of thousands of African American business owners and entrepreneurs, as well as corporate audiences.

Meet George the visionary, the young kid who always had a mind for business, who grew up to become one of America’s foremost authorities on economic development, networking and building effective relationships.

No stranger to hard work, George paid his way through college by mopping floors on the midnight shift at New York’s LaGuardia Airport. Armed with a degree from Dartmouth College’s Minority Business Executive Program, he set his sights on a path of success, and he has set a unique example which many others have followed. In 1999, he was awarded the Honorary Doctorate Degree of Humane Letters for Jarvis Christian College.

It is no surprise that he excelled in the business world. He quickly became a leader as he worked his way through leadership positions in major corporations such as Procter and Gamble, the United Way and the Ford Motor Company. Even at the height of his career, Dr. Fraser knew he had a specific purpose in life. God revealed that purpose to him over 25 years ago. Today he is fulfilling that purpose by serving humanity and sharing his gifts of leadership and management. His broad knowledge of entrepreneurship, wealth creation, networking and business ethics have helped African

American professionals and business owners develop a mindset for promoting teamwork, building successful partnerships, creating wealth and building solid foundations for their companies.

Though he lives a very humble life, his achievements are remarkable. To name a few, Dr. Fraser has been inducted into the Minority Business Hall of Fame and Museum. He is the CEO of FraserNet, Inc. the foremost networking organization for black professionals. He is also the founder of the PowerNetworking Conference which provides resources, tools and networking opportunities to thousands of African Americans each year through the auspices of top industry leaders and experts.

As a best-selling author, Dr. Fraser has written three critically acclaimed books: Success Runs In Our Race: Complete Guide to Effective Networking in the African American Community; Race For Success: The Ten Best Business Opportunities for Blacks In America and Click: Ten Truths for Building Extraordinary Relationships.

Most recently, Dr. Fraser and his sister Emma co-authored their first children’s book; Who Would Have Thunk It! The first Adventures of the Fraser Foster Kids, a groundbreaking book about their 13 years in the foster care system.

He is a sought-after speaker for worldwide audiences and is featured on major media outlets such as CNN and the Wall Street Journal to share in-depth insights on business and wealth. Dr. Fraser is also the Chairman of Phoenix Village Academy, which consists of three Afro centric charter schools that serve Cleveland, Ohio’s inner city children.
