A Champion for Kids with HIV/AIDS

At the age of 20 Neil decided to help change the life of a 5-year old boy named Sandeen who was shunned by his community because he had AIDS. 

17 years later, Neil has extended the love and compassion he had for Sandeen to thousands of other kids across America.   He sacrificed his dreams of becoming a feature film producer so that kids with HIV/AIDS could experience a little sunshine in their lives.

Ryan was living a very modest lifestyle and had just begun to live his dream of becoming a successful business owner when everything came crashing down.  After the passing of his mother, he and his wife soon found themselves homeless, living out of their car on the streets of California with their six dogs.

His extraordinary faith and ability to withstand the tests he would be put through is what kept him believing that he would survive the ordeal.  Even in the midst of pure darkness, homelessness, and despair, Ryan saw a glimpse of light that would be a light unto a new path and new direction in his life.

The NASA space program has contributed greatly to the field of science and aerospace in America.   But more than that, it was a lifetime of wonderful adventures and interesting challenges for former astronaut Robert Crippen.  His amazing contributions to the space program has won him many special honors and awards including the NASA Outstanding Leadership Medal(1988), the NASA Distinguished Service Medal (), among a host of other awards. Crippen became a NASA astronaut in 1969 and has flown over 6500 hours.
