Providing Exceptional Patient Care
Candice Rosen is making her mark as a registered nurse and the founder and director of the Pancreatic Nutritional Program. Her vision and mission is to provide patients with the information and tools they need to achieve effective self-health care. Just as her husband, Dr. Steven Rosen, her work is equally impressive. She is the founding member of Gilda’s Club Chicago and as the first executive director and program director she created an array of wellness related programs that addresses issues that cancer patients face.
With a Master’s Degree in Social Work and a certification in Health Counseling from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, Rosen is changing the lives of her patients as well as the lives of people in her community.
Rosen began her quest to find natural ways to heal the body when her daughter was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. Rather than encouraging her daughter to take medicine which usually masks symptoms, she began to do her own investigative work and created her own program for her daughter, which proved to be successful.
Through years of research and dedication, she developed the Pancreatic Nutritional Program which provides invaluable insights on nutrition and how the pancreas play a vital role in overall health and wellness.
